A Target Anti-aging Haul

A Target Anti-aging Haul

Never in my 43-ish, ish, ish… years of life have I seen the plethora of anti-aging products available to us. It’s equal parts insane and amazing. One of my favorite places to buy quality, affordable anti-aging skincare is Target.

I still remember having to go to the department store with my mom to buy skincare. Back then, we had the department store regulars, Clinique, Lancome, and Estee Lauder, and the drugstore dismal assortment. Those days are long gone (along with my collagen).

There is no longer the excuse of unavailability when it comes to taking care of our skin. But if you’re a little confused (because who wouldn’t be) with the tons of products that crowd the shelves. Here are some suggestions..

I went on a skincare shopping spree recently and wanted to share some products I’m using and loving from Tarjay.

CeraVe Ultra-light Moisturizing Face Lotion SPF 30

My go-to morning moisturizer. It’s light, but not too light, and blends easily into my skin. Built-in SPF 30 is good enough for my normal day routine. If I’m going to spend time outdoors, I will add a face sunscreen on top.

L’Oreal Hyaluronic Acid ampoules

These are new to my routine. I bought them specifically for travel because of its convenience. To be honest, for the price, I prefer my Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid. But these are great to stick in your purse or on a fight when you need extra hydration and a little skin plumping.

La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair UV

This is also a great day moisturizer with SPF, although I like the CeraVe on a little better. This one is a little thicker for those of you who like thicker (ahem).

La Roche Posay Toeriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser

Love this cleanser. It’s super gentle and creamy. I use it as a second cleanse at night after I use an oil or balm cleanser to remove my makeup or as a morning cleanse. It doesn’t strip my skin and leaves clean and hydrated. Love it.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Gel Face moisturizer

I had heard such great things about this moisturizer, so I had to try it. I don’t believe you have to spend a lot of money on moisturizers, and this one proves it. It’s super hydrating and doesn’t contain fragrance.

Simple Micellar Cleansing Water

I love a good micellar water for quick makeup removal (instead of wipes). I don’t use it often, but I like to have it around for makeup emergencies. This one is one of my faves.

Versed Found the Light Powder with Vitamin C

I love the idea of this – a powdered vitamin C. I’m adding it to my CeraVe moisturizer for added protection. Look, I don’t know if this will actually do anything, but I’m doing it anyway, just in case. I’ve damaged my skin more than I’d like to admit, so it’s now time for reparations.

Pixi Glow Tonic

I have been using this product for about two years, and it’s always in my routine. A good but gentle exfoliator. I use it after I cleanse, either morning or night.

Pixi Glow Mist

If you want your skin to look dewy and plump — and who doesn’t? — this is your new jam. It’s like fairy dust for your face. Trust me, you want this on your skin. Great as a makeup setting spray.

La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra light Face Sunscreen SPF 60

My favorite sunscreen for face. I’ve mentioned this one before, but it deserves another mention. Effective. period.

Your turn: What are your favorite Target finds? Share the youth.
