Things I’m Loving Lately: Random Product Recommendations

Things I’m Loving Lately: Random Product Recommendations

In my ever-evolving journey to remove clutter from my life (it’s a running theme around here), I’ve discovered some products that A: I bought and stored; B: I used and forgot about; C: I use regularly but forgot to share. So after my latest anxiety-soothing clear out, I found products that fit one of those categories. Rather than go on my merry Marie-Kondo way, I gathered them up, took a picture, and am sharing them with you. These products are not just skincare, but random products that I love and recommend (hence the title).

Here are the things I’m loving lately…a product recommendation smorgasbord.

Note: In most cases, you can get these products in several places, so shop around.

Skin

Vice Reversa Micro-Needling Plumping Patches: I don’t remember where I heard about these but they’re from the UK.  I love them. In fact, I’m wearing them as I type.

They’re small patches (smaller than your average under-eye patches) that contain hyaluronic acid and peptides formed into tiny needles in the patch itself, getting the ingredients to penetrate deeper. You can feel the tiny needles when you apply the patches, but it doesn’t hurt. And it leaves my under eyes plump and hydrated.

You can use them under your eyes or around your mouth (nasal labial folds), although I’ve only used them under my eyes.

My only complaint is that I wish they were bigger to cover my entire under eye (or actually, my entire face), but other than that, it’s a good one.

Dr. Roebuck’s No Worries Hydrating Face Moisturizer: I’m not picky when it comes to moisturizers. I’m picky about what goes on under my moisturizer  (my serums). I have found a few that I like but I bought this one after a Sephora employee raved about it.

She was right. I find myself reaching for this one more than any other moisturizer I have. It may be the super convenient pump or the spa-like scent (yes, it has fragrance). But I also like the light creamy texture and how it melts into my skin. It feels very nourishing and yummy and super hydrating.

It’s one that I will definitely repurchase.

Hair

Scalp scrubber: Have I mentioned this before? I’m not sure. Either way, it deserves a second mention. I’m obsessed with this thing. I use it while shampooing my hair (so I don’t have to ruin your manicure) and every morning to give my scalp a good massage. It wakes up my scalp, releases tension, and gets the blood flowing. I’m sure it helps with hair growth too.

Everyone should have one of these. Seriously. You’re welcome.

Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector:

I’m sure you’ve heard about this product, but if you haven’t, try it. It’s not a conditioner, it’s a bond-building treatment, and it’s supposed to re-link the broken bonds in damaged over-processed hair.

I can’t recommend this highly enough. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it.

I tried the conditioner (no. 5) which is the one in picture above because I ran out of the perfector. The conditioner didn’t impress me. Save your money.

Klorane Dry Shampoo: I first discovered this product years ago before it came to the states. I bought it at a French pharmacy. And though  I’ve tried several other dry shampoos, I keep coming back to this one. Is it the scent? It smells amazing. That’s part of it for sure. I’m drawn to hair products that smell great. But I just like the way this one works. Unlike the other ones that leave my scalp gritty and gross, this one leaves me head feeling clean and fresh.

And did I mention the scent?

Body

Soap & Glory The Scrub of your life: Just the name makes me happy. I got this as a Christmas gift and I’m hooked. I love me a good body scrub, and this one is my new fave. Leaves my skin 25-year-old soft. I can get it at Target when I accidentally on purpose wander over to the beauty section.

Fitness Clothes (told you it was random)

Sandiego fit Bia Brazil Leggings: These are my favorite workout leggings and for one reason only: they have back pockets (or fake pockets) which make my butt look perkier. I love them so much I had them in every color. My favorites are the capris (they sit just below the knees on me). I also have a few of the shorts for when I’m feeling confident.

They’re super comfortable and super flattering. They’re not the cheapest, but I have a money-is-no-object rule for things that make my butt look good. I will not apologize for that.

That’s it for now. Let me know if you like this random product recommendationI hope this was helpful. What things you’re loving lately. Share the youth!

xoxo

Ah, the Klorane and olaplex are favs of mine too! But that scalp scrubber…right up my alley! And…the microneedling patches…fascinated. I’ve tried a few but didn’t love them. I can Marie Kondo my stuff but then I have brilliant friends like you…and I must purchase more! 🤷🏻‍♀️😊💕

Haha. Am I a bad influence? I hope not. I’m trying to be mindful of waste, but my skin! And the scalp scrubber is orgasmic. Sort of.
