The Benefits Of Exfoliating Your Vagina Area

The Benefits Of Exfoliating Your Vagina Area

I bet you never thought of seeing exfoliation and vagina in the same sentence, did you? Me either. But just to clarify, I’m not really talking about the actual vagina, but the skin around the vagina — the vagina suburbs (some may call it pubic hair area or bikini area). Since I’m interested in rejuvenating all of me, and since my vagina suburbs is part of “all of me” it needs to be included in the discussion — and it needs exfoliation.

Besides, we have to talk about these things, Chickies. I can not be the only one concerned about outer vagina skin, can I?

Let me preface this blog post by saying that I don’t particularly like talking about vaginas any more than I like talking about teeth, but, you know…I have one (a vagina, I have more than one tooth), so I’m going in.

Also, let’s just consider this blog post a bonus because it’s not backed by research like my usual posts, or it’s not something that I’m struggling with on an existential level — again, like my usual posts. It’s just one of those shower thoughts that I felt deserved a little further investigation — that sort of thing.

Also, after writing this blog post on Dr. Harold Lancer’s “The Method” about the rejuvenating benefits of daily exfoliation, which include removing the outermost layer of dead skin to reveal new skin, I started including my outer vagina skin in my routine simply because I include my vagina and her surroundings in the category of places on my body I would like to keep young.

Now, if I’m honest, I’ve only just started doing this regularly. In the past, I have exfoliated after shaving to avoid ingrown hairs, but I haven’t been regular about it at all. And I’m not concerned about ingrown hair as much as I am about that area looking not-so-youthful – if you know what I’m mean.

This is my theory: if we are to take the information described by in Dr. Lancer, and in the studies that show unequivocally that exfoliation helps the cells turn over, thus producing younger skin, then shouldn’t we also conclude that we must include the skin directly around the vagina as well?

If you really think about it, if scrubbing away at your face and body sloughs off the dead skin then why wouldn’t you do that to your vagina area?

I don’t want dead skin around my vagina. Do you?

I didn’t think so.

For now, it’s only a hypothesis but I thought I’d write about it anyway in case any of you want to include yourself in my non-clinical, non-scientific trial. Don’t freak out, you don’t have to show me yours, just report back on your own findings if you feel so inclined.

My hubby (the perv) said he’d help with the trial by performing daily observations  (of mine, not yours) in order for me to more accurately record my findings. I told him that I would take that into consideration (I have to keep him on his toes, people, we’ve been married a long time).

I’m so intrigued (terrified) about vagina skin that I even asked my bikini wax lady for her opinion, given that she sees a lot of vaginas on a daily basis — young and old and everything in between.

Well, guess what? She agrees with me. Ha!

As you get older that skin around that area loses its elasticity just like the rest of our skin does and no longer looks (edible?) springy. She says she’s seen some dead looking outer vagina skin — and she made a face while she said this to me too.

There but for the grace of God go I.

This situation has to be avoided at all costs. Luckily, if this works, you can keep your love area youthful for years to come.

So if you want to join the trial, you must do the following…

  1. Wet the skin with warm water first.
  2. Exfoliate the skin around your vagina and the crease of your inner thigh gently – the entire area on which hair grows. DO NOT EXFOLIATE THE INNER LABIA. Ouch!
  3. Use a mild scrub or loofah.
  4. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
  5. Follow up with a moisturizing lotion.
  6. Do this daily for a month and see if you notice a difference in your own vagina suburbs.

Please feel free to take a before and after picture. You don’t need to show it to me, it’s for your purposes only. I may or may not have taken my own research pics. Shhh.

That’s it. Simple, right?

Although I wrote that I was going to take a break from exfoliating my face for fear of damaging my moisture barrier, I haven’t quite gotten around to it. In fact, I’m exfoliating every inch of my skin every day, and now I have included my vagina.

Anything for youth, Chickies.

Now you: Have you exfoliated down there? What do you think about my theory?

xoxo,

V

I actually did give it a try and saw felt change but the following day, it felt like as if I had used soap. I think its better to do it twice a week…

Sadly, no. I wish it did. I know there are creams for that but I haven’t tried them. But now I’m curious, so will look into it.

I’ve done it. Not just the outside either. I’ve used Bliss pealing gel to exfoliate the inner lips of my vagina as well as all the way up my butt crack. It doesn’t hurt, at all and you will be amazed how much skin is rolled into little balls. Do it once and you’ll never stop.

I do it every time I bathe but do a thorough exfoliation at least 2 times a week.
Now. Ingrown hairs. I despise them but I very VERY rarely get one ever since carefully apply (meaning careful to not get any on any other skin besides skin that grows hair out of it and you have now shaved those hairs off) a nice layer of Clean and Clear brand benzoyl peroxide . (Other brand however are SO VERY VERY DRYING , or are runny and hard to apply and just all around dont do what I need them to . And make sure you massage it in good then take a moment to 🌬🌬 on it so it absorbs and dries on your skin most of the way or all the way either is fine. )
I KNOW. Sounds little harsh for down there but it’s taken me many years of stupid painful razors burn and ingrown hairs to finally land on a perfect pair YRS PAIR SO KEEP READING -hard working products that deliver what that skin needs after you shave it and leave all that skinas a wide open portal for ANY AND ALL BACTERIA TO come and jump right in those fresh wounds so to speak and hence they come running and jump in all those pores just bursting with excitement to infect all those pores and hair follicle . Resulting in nothing that looks or feels attractive or good but what you all have likely witnessed the same old painful gross red bump and even white heads.
    Please note :
But it works FOR ME. maybe not all others .but I’m sure some may benefit from this.
NOW THIS IS THE VERY IMPORTANT AND NECESSARY SECOND STEP IN THIS HARD WORKING AND PUSSY PERFECTING DUO -YOU MUST THEN LIBERALLY APPLY AND MASSAGE IN SOME HIGH QUALITY MOISTERIZER.
My personal favorites are Cerave PM facial lotion and or Olay anti aging serum. Pretty sure any high quality serum and or moisturizer will do the trick. Switch them up see what works best for you..
Occasionally I will use some coconut oil but not the best for long lasting results or for coming out of the bathroom without an oil crotch. .
So if your about to have some fun with your perv as you call hum opt for the oil otherwise the lotion and serum make for the perfect pussy solution 👍🥳❤🥂🍽🎁🥇🎊🎀

sounds crazy but I do that almost immediately after I get out of the shower or tub and then once that’s had few moments to dry via some kind of fan or blow dryer or blowing o it lol I apply a nice

OMG Witney! You’re my kinda girl! I just love your “pussy-perfecting duo!” Gotta have one of those in our routines for sure. I am very curious about the lotion. Coconut oil is very popular with the perv. Wink, wink.
